As much as I’m digging getting back into the swing of regular comics again (and I REALLY am) I’m afraid there will be a few more interruptions over the next week or so. Tomorrow is my last exam, and thus the beginning of my Spring Break, so I’ll be headed up to Toledo for five days. That doesn’t bode especially well for the next two, possibly three regular update days, but I hope you can all understand that I’ve really been looking forward to my real vacation since all this end-of-quarter madness started. ^_^; I will try my best to resume regular updates again sometime next week.
No comic today. Since I’m on staff for AnimePunch, I’ve got a lot of last-minute artwork to produce by tomorrow, so I’ve been busy with that. Spring Quarter classes also start today, so I’m a bit tied up overall at the moment. I’ll hopefully have a comic for Wednesday.
On the subject of cons, I updated my con schedule at the bottom of the page, since some of the dates were incorrect. I’ve added Marcon to the list, since it’s right here in Columbus, and I’ll more than likely be there. Unfortunately, I’ve taken Otakon off the list. I’ve never been to Otakon, and I really wanted to go, but since Connecticon and Otakon are on consecutive weekends, I don’t think I’ll be able to swing the cash to get to the East Coast twice in the span of two weekends. Since Connecticon has the bigger webcomic presence, that’s the con I’m going to attend.
Anyways, enough of my blathering. See you Wednesday.
Two pages today since I missed Friday. As for my BFA interview? I passed! So when I graduate, it’ll be with a Bachelor of Fine Arts. ^_^ I’m pretty damn excited, as I failed my first attempt to get into the BFA program last year. Anyways, enjoy the comic, and I’ll see you Wednesday!
The con was pretty awesome, though I’m glad things are getting back to normal. Page 107 today, and this will officially mark the beginning of regular updates, for real this time. ^_^; I really appreciate all your patience, and on a somewhat related note, I apologize for any inconsistencies in the quality of my artwork lately. All these delays and skipped updates have seriously affected my ability to do these pages justice, especially since I’m at a crucial part of the story. Things will only get better from here!
No comic today, as I’m having some massive issues with Photoshop. I’ve downloaded GIMP in order to work on Friday’s update, which will hopefully be two pages to make up for missing today. My apologies!
I’m off to Animarathon tomorrow, so if by chance anyone who reads Garanos is going to be there, do stop by my Artist Alley table! I’ll be doing the one-dollar Sharpie drawings again, and I’ll have pencil versions of all the Garanos pages with me. ^_^ Have a good weekend, and I’ll see you on Monday!
Animarathon was a total blast! For the first time, I had a reader come by my table, which was all kinds of awesome. Thanks for coming by, Jenna! And since I had the pencil versions of all the comic’s pages, at one point a group of four girls went through and narrated everything with their own dialogue, which was both hilarious and disturbing. ^_^ Thanks to everyone who came by my table who is now checking out the site.
Have a good one, and see you Wednesday!
Today’s installment will be delayed one day, as I’ve been working on an assignment for 3D Animation all day, and just now started actually rendering my project (1:55 AM). See you tomorrow!
No comic today, as I’ve been preparing for my presentation and interview to get into OSU’s BFA program. A bit stressful, as you might imagine. ^_^; See you Monday!
My workload with the animation project still stands, so Wednesday’s update will be iffy. I also updated my con schedule banner at the bottom of the page; since I’m starting a new job soon, I’ll probably be able to make it to Cleveland Colossal Convention next month. Otakon is also a faint possibility again, though I’m leaving it off the list until I know for sure. Have a good one, and I’ll see you Wednesday or Friday!
