In a return to humor comics, I present Alex’s Guide to a Life Well-Lived, a slice-of-life, sometimes-journal comic that began as one of my 24 Hour Comics in 2008.  It’s been a convention favorite ever since, and I’m happy to share it with you as a regular webcomic!

The official launch is on June 14th, which is (not coincidentally) the day after Garanos’ 4th anniversary, and will be updating twice a week on Mondays and Fridays.  You can read the original 25 comics on the website right now!

I’ll also have some art and prints up in the Art Show, which is a first for me, so this will be an interesting weekend.

My new comic is in the works.  And I even have a tentative launch date!  It will most likely be on June 14th, the day after Garanos’ 4th anniversary.  I’ll post a link a few days before that so you can all check it out early! ^_^

In the course of working on my SUPER SECRET NEW WEBCOMIC* in the last few days, I discovered that ComicPress had gone and pimped itself the hell out when I wasn’t paying attention, so I installed some of the new bells and whistles over here and cleaned house a little.  I feel a little bit like Xzibit.

One of the things I installed was a transcript plugin, so if any of you archive-trawlers are so inclined, you’re welcome take a moment or two to submit transcriptions for pages you like.  The only requirement is that you have to register.

*Not actually secret, it’s just not ready to go live to the public yet. :D  You will be informed when it does!

EDIT: An additional note on transcripts – Something I did not realize at first is that you must be registered to even see the submit-a-transcript links on individual pages.  Once you do, you just need to be logged in to start transcribing.  That’s it! ^_^

The Webcomic Beacon episode that was recorded on Friday night is now up for listening!  I was in the audience, so you might even hear me laughing in the background now and then.

My next convention will be Marcon in Columbus, OH, on Memorial Day weekend.  I’ll be on a few panels, and I plan to enter the art show this year, but I wont have a table set up.  After that, it’s all gearing up for ConnectiCon in July!

• This weekend, I’ll be exhibiting at SPACE in Columbus, OH.  I’ll be joined by Pete Tarkulich of Bardsworth, and I’ll be on the webcomics panel!  I’m also up for a 2009 SPACE prize for webcomics, so wish me luck. ^_^
