The woman taking names eventually lost some weight, de-aged a few years, and became the flirtatious barmaid. Also, I snuck a Black Mage into the entrance hall of the inn, which amused me to no end at the time, but seems kind of silly now.

But the fact that Garanos, still cloaked, is mistaken for a man, did not change. It's not quite as subtle in the color version, but gets the point across and adds a bit of personality to this periphery character.
