I understand. She does love Styx, but she also still loves her Fiancee/Husband?. It’s hard to let someone like that go so soon.

aww, geez! GARANOS! That was possibly the dumbest thing ever. Guys like him are a rare breed indeed! You’re not likely to find better husband material anywhere.

@Azure: Er, yes she is. You know, her fiance? The one she fell in love with and has launched this entire quest to find?

The fault here is Styx’s. That was not the right question to ask and not the right time to ask it. Let’s face it, if your plan is to be a ‘backup husband’ in case somebody’s fiance dies, you’ve got some issues you need to work through.

He’s her friend, and cliche as it sounds Garanos really needs ‘just friends’ right now. Depending on what happens later, there might be room for more. But that’s a question for later.

@ Sabreur, we know nothing about her fiance, only what Garanos “remembers.” There’s no telling how he’s going to act upon their meeting, or even if he’s still alive. Or even if he’s still himself. Demon worshiping cults tend to do strange things to people. STYX’s attitude is entirely correct, Garanos IS a princess. You can’t expect to be #1 in the relationship. Especially as a “lowly country medic.”

@Azure: Given that Garanos had no particular reason to lie about her memories, I’m pretty sure we can trust them. Making backup plans for a husband before you even know the fate of your current fiance is a bit too far on the sleazy side for me to stomach. I don’t entirely blame Styx, since it’s obvious they both care about each other. But asking if she’ll come live with him if her fiance turns out to be dead is a bit premature, especially when they’ve got such a good lead on where her fiance might be.

You can’t blame Styx for asking. He may seem a little desperate, but he’s trying to make sense of his love for a woman who may never be with him. He wants to make her happy and yet selfishly keep her for himself. Not to mention, she’s been unknowingly crossing a boundary in her sleep that would only make his heart ache more for her. I adore Styx, and since we’ve seen the bond between then grow, I’m rooting for him. :/ Though I’m anxious to see her fiance and what’s happened to him. But I’m establishing my GaraStyx stance. X3

Ah, debate. :) I might read it all fully if I weren’t at work. I can’t say I favor either Styx or Ethreden … I’d rather just see how this wind-blown knot gets worked out. I certainly don’t envy Garanos for her current situation.
