I love the pea coat-style buttons on Geilen’s dress. Still trying to decide how I feel about the hairstyle … I suppose I’m partial to styles that show off long hair.
Geilen’s expression is spot on. It conveys her emotion remarkably for all that it’s essentially a blank look. Well done, Alex!
now the fight begins !
Geilen is lookin’ purrty but cold/distant.
I think I’d be mad at Gara too for not mentioning her nasty spidey bloodlust legs of doom.

technically, it’s not peacoat. It’s Bridge Coat.
Pea coats were the short ones that ended at the hips, bridge coats were longer ones.
bridge coats are also similar to trench coats, but trench coats were WWI/II Army, while Bridge Coats were WWI/II navy…..it was an armed forces thing.
until they got coopted in more modern times to apparently be pretty much only fashionable/common on women.
though I do plan on getting my own Harkness-esque bridge coat sometime soon…..
yes. wall of text. :D
I want Geilen’s coat!
By the way I’m a new reader, and I love the story so far, I’ll be sticking around.
