Sorry, Azure but I don’t think that makes any sense. I don’t think she knows the guy. She was just running away because she reckoned they were ambushed.
The guy was Mal, the ringleader of the mercs, who we remember from the beginning of Vol. 2. Mal was not the one who got run through back then, it was the archer about to shoot Styx.
