he is super-pale, poor guy’s probably been abused and neglected in some dungeon cell. but dude! ethreden looks remarkably similar to styx, no? and how are they going to overpower her (transformed) when nobody else could?
Oh man, he looks so incredibly different from how we saw him in Garanos’s flashback. I get the feeling she’s going to flip out and transform … but maybe that’s exactly what they want.
i kinda wish we got to see a little of his tattoo, i was a little confused as to who that was until she started to say his name. Otherwise, i think this is one of your more powerful pages–nice work!

Except that they wouldn’t KNOW that she can transform, had met the Harbinger, etc.

It looks like the tattoo is partly visible in panels 1 and 4, but it’s mostly covered by his shaggy hair.
Oy, he’s not looking so hot. At least he’s alive, though.
