Here we see Garanos’s biggest strength. Because those around her are her friends, she has their support. Whereas Gharsena, who rules through fear, doesn’t have anyone she could totally rely on (I suspect even the Zombies would stop if she died/was close to death).

look at the second panel and the skid marks beneath her feet–Gara keeps getting pushed back, probably from the incredible power of the Red Moth. Styx is trying to keep her steady (and maybe giver her his power??)
Heh… And now she has to hold on and keep fighting for his sake as well. The others could always run for it. But Styx has just given up on that, methinks… His a bit foolhardy but; Go Styx!
Just found this comic, but its been awesome so far. But what I had to think when I saw this was Red Moth’s mother-son relationship with Styx combined with Gara’s romantic intereset. Have to be akward mixed emotions there.
Anyway noticed in the arcives theres an end, can’t wait to catch up to there and see how this concludes.
