The bottom right is the most recent one, from just a few weeks ago when I was blocking out the end of this chapter.  The bottom left… is an interesting story.  The Big Awkward Talk scene from the beginning of Part 15 originally ended… MUCH differently.  Garanos would’ve said “yes,” basically.  But at the eleventh hour, I changed it because it just didn’t feel right yet.  But this sketch is an artifact of that previous draft.

Of course, I’ve known this all along, and the growth of their relationship has been in my plans for Garanos from the very beginning.  I’m a very romantic person, and therefore there has been a lot of romantic art I’ve done of Garanos and Styx that I’ve had to hold back over the years in order to keep the story unspoiled, dating back to 2004.  But not anymore!

The last few vote incentives on TopWebComics will be collections of all the lovey-dovey Gara/Styx drawings I’ve been holding onto.  And the first one is up now! These are the oldest drawings I have.

And once again, since it’s a new month, that means all the vote ranks have been reset!  Voting every day helps Garanos get a higher rank early in the month and drives a ton of traffic to the site, as well as being an easy way to show your support. ^_^

In comic news, Volume II proper is now available at IndyPlanet.  If you’re interested, though, I implore you to consider a Volume II Misprint, which is not only cheaper, but signed and numbered, unlike what you’ll get from IP.  ^_^  My other comic, Alex’s Guide to a Life Well Lived, is also on IP as well!

I’m in the process of digging up sketch versions of the pages I’ll be offering for sale, and I hope to get them up in the store this week.  Man, I have not looked at these drawings in AGES.  I’m not surprised to find a new false-start sketches on the back of pages now and then, but I AM astounded at the number of them that I don’t ever remember drawing, much less what they were for.  I seem to have used a discarded page from this scene to draw the chapter cover for Part 5, and it is rather… creepy.  I’m glad it didn’t make it into the final cut, because I would still be having nightmares.

My buddy Pete over at Bardsworth is also taking t-shirt preorders!  You like cookies, right? You can have a COOKIE… on your SHIRT.  Did I just blow your mind?

Aaaaaaand of course, here we are at the start of the last chapter.  I want to give props to my friend Susan Bruno, who helped me edit this chapter.  I hope the wrap-up is satisfying, but we’ll cross that bridge when we get there. :D

This is a brand new venture for me, since I’ve never used this software before, so there might be some kinks to work out while we’re getting started!  Everything should run pretty smoothly, though. ^_^

I’ve had a very long two weeks at work.  One more week of the gauntlet to go, then I’m back to my usual duties, and I’ll be able to spend more leisurely time on Garanos.  Everyone have a good weekend!
