Today’s new voting incentive is back to stuff I did for AnimePunch. Vote today to see the Local Deity art!
At the end of this month, I’ll be a guest at GarasuNoShiCon in Perrysburg, Ohio! Long name, yes, but in English, it means Glass City Con, since it’s in the backyard of Toledo, my hometown, which is nicknamed the Glass City. ^_^ So this con in my old stomping grounds!
I’ll be running a Photoshop panel on Sunday morning along with my Artist Alley table, so if you’re in the area, you should check out the con and say hello.
The best part of the con is that it’s completely free to attend! Garasu is a first-year convention, and I’m excited that there’s finally a con in my hood, so I really want to give them support so they do well!

So I saw Star Trek on Monday, since Chris and I were celebrating the end of his first gigasecond, and to spoil it slightly for anyone who hasn’t seen it yet, the chick that Kirk was sexing up in the trailer was a redheaded, curly-haired Orion girl. Furthermore, her name is Gaila.
I’m entirely amused by this coincidence. I also keep getting hits from people googling “orion slave girl” and variations thereof. So now you can buy Orion!Geilen in the form of a new wallpaper:
Had I known that Orions dyed their hair (or could have naturally red hair) I would’ve left her a redhead. ^_~
